In the Orbiter Processing Facility at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida, STS-127 crew members are lowered into space shuttle Endeavour's payload bay for a close look at installed hardware. In the foreground are Commander Mark Polansky and Mission Specialist Julie Payette. The crew members are at Kennedy for a crew equipment interface test, which provides hands-on training and observation of shuttle and flight hardware. Endeavour will deliver the Japanese Experiment Module's Experiment Logistics Module-Exposed Section, or ELM-ES, to the International Space Station on STS-127. Launch is targeted for mid-June, 2009.
