The movie "Dumbo" was released in 1941 and features a young elephant who is ridiculed due to his large ears. His mother is in isolation after protecting her child from tormenters. Dumbo then befriends a mouse that helps make him a star circus performer which leads to the reunion between him and his mother. In 1947 the Gund Manufacturing Company began a long-lasting partnership with Walt Disney Productions, creating plush figures of popular characters like Mickey Mouse and Minnie, Donald Duck, Daisy, and Donald's three nephews, Snow White, Dumbo, Lady and the Tramp, Mary Poppins, Winnie the Pooh, and others. These days, Gund offers soft toys of more recent Disney movies like "The Aristocats," "Monsters, Inc.," and "Cars."
