Between 1983 and 1984, Harrison/Erickson, Inc. explored a toy line and television concept for Gigglebugz. The television series would feature the Jitterbugs�?apoleon Bee, Venus Fly, Gunter Grasshopper, O. Zone Mosquito, Scarlet Ladybug, and Max Roach. In the Jitterbugs yearbook, it is noted that O. Zone Mosquito is a popular DJ that "needs very little sleep" and is "very New Wing."
