Sudanva and Prabhavati

An anglicised version of Sudanva and Prabhavati that was made in the Ravi Varma Press. The original chromolithograph made in the Ravi Varma Press was never painted by the artist himself. Instead, the press continued to function under the ownership of German Fritz Schleicher, who hired German technicians and artists to keep making chromolithographic prints of Indian subjects and stories.
