This sugar bowl comes from Paris. Its shape resembles an ellipsoidal vessel with filigree walls, created by stylised cockscomb and flower motifs. Its lid has a handle shaped like a strawberry twig with two fruits. It bears the hallmark of the Parisian assay office.
