Suit in grey, green, black and white heavy wool tweed. A: Single-breasted box-shaped jacket; hip-length; shawl collar, V-neckline; elbow-length sleeves; pointed flap hip pockets; three triangular yarn-covered center front button closure; black silk twill lining. B: Straight knee-length skirt; wide waistband at natural waist; knife pleats at front hip; center back zipper closure; black silk twill lining. Inscription: Tweed men's top coat wool fabric bought in Paris from Sam Silverman's tailors, Bauman and Sorrell, in 1953. Suit designed and tailored by Coby [Irene M. Zambelli, mother] for me [Irene Z. Silverman]. Handmade buttons from Galeries Lafayette.
