Adelaide, Australia

Sunshade with a white plastic upper and dark green underside bound in cotton. This is attached to a felt sweat band also bound in cotton with adjustable elastic at the back with two metal eyelets. The initials CP are written in black ink on the inside of the sweat band. This item is a great example of women's sports wear and post-war self sufficiency in the home in making as many garments as possible.
