Tabakoire (Tobacco pouch)

This is a tobacco pouch made for women. This type of pouch was used tucking in the folds (futokoro) of the kimono. The pouch is designed with an image of a rabbit on waves. This motif is related to the Noh play "Chikubujima", and it is often used in the crafts.
