This tea caddy was made by turning the potter’s wheel in a clockwise motion. It shows blackish base clay from the chamfering rim of the bottom. It is applied with glaze on the inner and outer surfaces. The persimmon color appears like masses of clouds on the blackish amber color surface, which creates an abstruse atmosphere.
