Tea gown of purple silk velvet with puffed elbow length sleeves and a full and long trained skirt falling from below the bust. The elbow bands, V-neckline and the centre front of the skirt is trimmed with embroidered bands of lilac and green silk with an Art Nouveau design. High waisted. The skirt is gathered evenly to the waist band and is slightly trained. Lilac silk fills the neck and edges the sleeves. The dress fastens from the neck down the centre front to hip level with black metal hooks and eyes. Lined with purple silk and the underskirt trimmed with a pleated frill.
