Every child who knew Lewis Carroll's "Alice in Wonderland" knew the significance of tea drinking. A bewildered Alice halts her journeys through Wonderland to take tea with the Mad Hatter, the March Hare, and the Dormouse. And when Alice awakens from her nap ending the dream about her adventures in Wonderland, it is because her sister has called her in for the family's afternoon tea.
