The front of hadrosaurs' upper and lower jaws form a shape that looks like the bill of a duck, earning this group their name. The bill was effective in cropping plants, which comprised this animal's diet. Farther back in the skull, multiple rows of leaf-shaped teeth on each side of the jaws ground up plants as Anatotian chewed.
