View of Alexandra Park from the Palace. On the left is the television garden, created by CH Middleton for early outside broadcasts. Mr Middleton, as he was known, had a successful gardening spot on BBC radio and developed the first ever television gardening show, enabled by the development of the portable EMI 'Emitron' cameras.
