Tesla's uncle, an Austro-Hungarian army officer, who was married to a rich landlord's daughter helped Tesla move to Budapest, in 1882, and find a job in a telephone exchange owned by a friend of Mr. Mandić. Older brother of Mr. Mandić's friend, Mr. Tivadar Puskas was a close associate of Edison.
