Fondazione Napoli Novantanove
Napoli, Italy

Under the Aragonese dominion, around the end of the 15th century, imposing fortifications were raised with towers and bastions, of which today the Aragonese Tower is still preserved, almost isolated but for a small part of the ancient city walls on which today it stands. The Aragonese Tower, part of the wider defensive system of the city of Lanciano, is connected to the first urban garden built in the post unitary era and to the ancient monumental complex of the Clarisse where today the Maria Vittoria nursery school is located. The intent of our teachers is to focus our attention on a symbol of past history so as not to forget and keep our attention alive.
