The Battle

Taking reference to Tláloc both her figure, its forms, and represent the symbolic vertical water cycle and be recognized by several Mesoamerican cultures as guardian of ground waters. I created different fantastical beings unwrapped anthropomorphic in imaginary landscapes and facing each other, showing the ever-present duality in the things of life, arid - rich, good - evil, with water - without water.
Inviting people to interact with the piece to question the implicit message that the piece proposes, what is the world we want? Does one fertile, green, lively or a barren, dry, full of desolation?
