The Beggar's Opera / Ibali Loo Tsotsi

The Beggar's Opera was originally presented by Broomhill Opera at Wilton's Music Hall in 1999. The success of The Mysteries, a production created with the South African Academy of Performing Arts, led to this second revival of John Gay's play under the alternate title Ibali Loo Tsotsi, set in a 1700s South Afican London.
