This is a project about the insanity that has gripped us all. About a brain that has been poisoned by toxic doses of dopamine in the race for “striking” sensory impulses against a background of a bottomless pit of civilized abundance. This is the story of the Nietzschean chasm that lies between the animal and the Over-man, a chasm in which we are floating without a hope of making it to the other side. Nihilism with concepts that have been boiled down in postmodernism, the merciless variety of the algorithms involved in the generation of false goals and values, the illusory freedom of the individual, all of that leading to a complete loss of touchstones and guiding lights… and, in the last resort, to the Post-man. Everything devolves into an all-encompassing hallucination, like the manifestation of a corpse with the head smashed in and a hilarious Tarantinoesque brain running away on legs. The project is part of an ongoing artistic research study, Darwin vs. Darwin.
