The Circle, Queen Elizabeth Street, Bermondsey, Southwark, Greater London

The Circle was built in 1987-9 by CZWG, a celebrated architectural practice at the forefront of British Post-Modernism. A mix of commercial and residential units, the design incorporates stock brick and glazed blue bricks. At the centre of the circus is a bronze sculpture, 'Jacob - the Circle Dray Horse', by Shirley Pace.
