This codex contains the French translation of De proprietatibus rerum written by Bartholomaeus Anglicus, commissioned by Charles V to Jean Corbichon. At the beginning of each chapter illustrations related to the text appear and, on the first page, scenes of Creation and an introduction of the work by the translator. The codex, made around 1400, presents one binding of the XVI Century, with corners and coat of golden copper, with the arms of Claude d'Urfé.
