Research on the influenza virus at the WHO World Influenza Centre

Dr Isaacs is the author of the valuable monograph on influenza research in the Guilbert Islands in the Pacific. At the World Influenza Centre, virus strains from all over the world are studied. At the same time a constant watch is kept on the known viruses which takes place in the virus (an antigenic change) which makes the control of influenza so difficult.
