In the piece entitled El festín (The Feast), he gathers animal figures, fruits and inanimate objects on the canvas, in an ensemble that despite its disparity, has internal connections to weights and counterweights. The artist divides the surface up with two diagonals that in their crossing point mark a luminous area into the center with the yellow shade of a fruit; contrast that makes the violets and reds, predominant in the painting, stand out. The horizontal alignment of the enormous fish that strangely appears on the bottom carries great visual weight that is compensated with the side areas in shades of white, repeated in the image of the mask, attaining a harmonious balance of all the components. The look is recreated with a play of perspectives with which the author gives shape to this unique and current version of the old still-life genre.
