The first complete skeleton of an ichthyosaur, unearthed in 1811 by legendary early british fossil hunter Mary Anning (1799–1847). She found the skeleton of an animal 5 metres (16 feet 5 inches) long in the crumbling Jurassic cliffs between Lyme Regis and Charmouth in Dorset, England.
