I found out that mushrooms digest carbon as food, so I think that means they eat plastic and then they spit it out for other mushrooms to pick up and use to make energy. Here, my artwork shows one side there is thunder and the other is sunny because of the energy made by the mushroom. There is a barrier around the window so the electricity doesn't break the windows. And the door is extra big for big people. I was inspired by a picture of a futuristic mushroom and all of its possibilities.

This piece was made at BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art as part of Arts Council England's The Way I See It project which captures the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic on the lives of children and young people, articulated in their own voices, through their own creativity.

BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art, Gateshead creates and produce exhibitions, events and learning opportunities that explore the role of art and artists, and the world around us.
