The gun-carriage

The gun-carriage carrying President Jomo Kenyatta’s flag-draped coffin is drawn through the streets of Nairobi, Kenya. 31st August, 1978. The country went into deep mourning for its favorite son, and Kenya’s renowned photojournalist Mohamed Amin, also known as ‘Six Camera Mo’, covered the state funeral and swearing in of Kenyatta’s successor, and former vice-president, Daniel Arap Moi.
