"When performing their toilette, ladies wanting to wear a jacket or coat have great difficulty inserting the puffed sleeves of their dresses through the armholes of their jacket or coat sleeves. This invention relates to a jacket or coat design that makes it much easier to put on a garment such as this, without creasing the sleeves of the dress and without the need to be helped by others. To achieve this, it was necessary to incorporate a mechanism that first allows for the widening of the armhole and then makes it possible to revert the armhole to its normal size."
