The Kiss of Judas

Judas, having received thirty deniers by the high priest to betray Jesus, hastens towards him, holding the money in his right hand, to kiss him, while Simon-Peter draws his sword to cut off the ear of the high priest's servant. The energy of the traitor and the army contrasts with the static attitude of Jesus, noble and serene.
