The Last Judgment in Cyberspace, Miao Xiaochun, "The Section of Experimental Art at the 18th National Art Exhibition"

A sculpture engages viewing from multiple angels, while paintings can only be seen from the front. What will happen when looking at Michelangelo’s “Last Judgment” from its back?
The artist has replaced over 400 figures depicted in the Last Judgment with 3-D models, creating a three-dimensional space in cyberspace following the composition of the painting. In doing this, the entire “painting” could be viewed from every direction, and the viewer could even wonder inside the space of the painting to take videos. A two-dimensional image has been transformed into a three-dimensional video.
As he replaces every figure with his own images, and therefore, there is no differentiation between upper and bottom, right and left, good and devil, high and low, past and present, nor judge and being judged. The person who goes to heaven is the person who goes to hell.
