The Sabdag the local guardian deity of the mountains consists of a large gold plated metallic skull and a trident of iron with blazing flames. The flames are partly gold polished. The skull is marked with a cranial suture and has a slit at the apex to fix the trident. It is considered to be one of the manifestations of Lord Shiva in the local cult.
