The lyrical singer Anna Fougez

The class II °C of the secondary Institute "San Giovanni Bosco" of Taranto, has chosen to adopt an immaterial monument, an artist, the lyrical singer Anna Fougez ,considering there is a broad acceptance to the term “monument”.
It has been a great and exciting adventure to look for traces of the past that testify the artistic life of Anna Fougez in Taranto: not only those connected to her artistic successes, but also those to her private life. In so doing, the students realised that great was the artistic influence of Fougez to the history of our nation but nowadays unfortunately forgotten so, proud of the discovery of this “monument” so linked to Taranto, they felt a duty to remember, to appreciate her figure, through everything has been saved asthe material testimony of his image and his voice: photographs, letters, recordings, the scores, vinyl supports, trestored costumes (built by Fougez) and the stage materials that we could see live both in the public and film archives, or among private collectors, among whom we mention the artist and film director Leo Pantaleo and the artistic director of the Ass.
