The figures are outlined by dark lines and defined by deliberate significant deformation. Woman faces with the profile head to the right. It has long, straight hair, on the left, as if they were beaten by the wind, just rimmed eyes, flat nose and lips parted revealing expression of despair. It has straight arms and sides, on the right leg folded down and on the left supported also vertically folded. Wears dark clothing with white dots. It has in her lap two dead children whose heads are resting on his legs. Around the woman find themselves several pieces of heads and arms of children, with a higher concentration to the right of the composition. Fund represented by geometrical areas in shades of gray that overlap with figures creating chiaroscuro effects.
