The mountainous river landscape with two ships and a fisherman may be considered as an autonomous drawing, showing the high artistic level of the art of drawing of this time. Some researchers associate the drawing with Northern Italian art, others with Bohemian art. It was presumably created in South Germany under Italian and Bohemian influence. It was glued to the inside of the back cover of a manuscript containing miscellaneous texts.
