The Nunnery

Walked with Henry to the Nunnery; cool groves of young trees and many fine old ones. General Goulding [sic Goldie-Taubman] has built a handsome house near the site of the old nunnery, on which stands a modern house. The old convent bell, hung outside, is used as a house-bell.'
