The Palace of San Telmo, in Seville, built in 1682 as a seminary for the Guild of Sailors, was acquired in 1849 by the Duke and Duchess of Montpensier, Antonio de Orleans and María Luisa de Borbón, who made it their residence in the city. Here we can see its baroque entrance, the work of Leonardo de Figueroa, and, in front of it, the Duke's guard and their sentry boxes.
