The pulpit of Saint John

In addition to purchasing a series of paintings of marinas from João Vaz, Dr. Anastácio Gonçalves also bought two paintings of the interiors of notable Portuguese churches: this, the pulpit of S.João in the church of S. João Baptista in Tomar and an interior of the Igreja Matriz de Viana do Alentejo.
