1922/1928

Alexandra Palace

Alexandra Palace
London, United Kingdom

Protest sign on the Grand Willis Organ at Alexandra Palace. The organ was severely damaged in the First World War and has spent much of its life requiring repairs to bring it back to full working order. It was underneath the organ, under restoration, in 1980 that a fire started and destroyed a large proportion of the building fabric.
