Land's End House was built in 1935 and designed by architect Guy Morgan for the aircraft manufacturer Frederick George Miles. Millar & Harris had been established in 1912 as Millar & Stone, and became Millar & Harris in 1924. The firm's extensive client base included architects, estate agents and construction companies.
