The STS-109 flight hardware for maintenance of the Hubble Space Telescope (HST) is being processed inside the clean room at the Vertical Processing Facility (VPF). Seen here is the Axial Science Instrument Protective Enclosure (ASIPE), which will house the Advanced Camera for Surveys (ACS). The hardware will be installed on four principle payload carriers. The STS-109 launch aboard Columbia is targeted for Feb. 14, 2002, and will be the 108th flight in the Space Shuttle program
