This view of the Czar's sitting room, impressionistically rendered, shows suites of highly polished mahogany furniture in the rococo revival style. The green color of the closely buttoned upholstery matches the walls while white curtains furnished with a pelmet informally dress the windows. The walls are hung with pictures of battle scenes and studies of military uniforms.
