The Theologians

On the east wall of the Studio, next to the depiction of the Philosophers, Pugliani himself carried out the portraits of Theologians. This fresco was originally commissioned to Leonardo Ferroni who, is not at easy with the fresco painting, left it in a few days. Between the characters painted we can recognize: Ambrogio camaldolese in the monk dressed in white and seated on the ledge and Saint Antonino Pierozzi, bishop of Florence, in the figure with the emaciated face show in the center.
