HUMAN

HUMAN

The Tula River runs over 700 kilometres in central and northern Mongolia. This river, sacred for the Mongols, passes south of Ulaanbaatar, the capital of the country. The exploitation of subsoil wealth ensures a fast growing Mongolia, which exports coal, gold, and copper to neighbouring China.
In recent years, the country has become more urbanised and more than two thirds of the Mongols now live in cities.
