The Virgin Mary with the Christ Child from the Kaarma Church. Saaremaa Museum

The sculpture, made in the 1270s, probably originates from Lübeck and is one of the oldest surviving medieval sculptures in Estonia. It was found in the late 19th century in the space above the vaults of the Kaarma church and was taken to the museum of the Research Society of Saaremaa.
