  • Artist Biography: Henry Behr (originally Baehr) lived from 1897 to 1981, and immigrated to United States circa 1946. Behr and his wife, whose home was in Cologne, were held at Theresienstadt three and half years. He had been a commercial artist. He made a group of drawings in pencil, which he later finished in the present media. There are comments on the life in the camp on the backs of the mounts. Additional material in the archives.
