Zoomorphic vessel (askos)

Ceramic stirrup jar in the form of a four-legged animal. Two sets of triple rings framing a band of horizontal grooves decorate the animal’s body. This type of jar is called an askos. Zoomorphic askoi were widespread in the northern Aegean during the early Bronze Age.
