Till You Stop – Cake Decoration

As part of the MAK exhibition DESIGN CRIMINALS: Or a New Joy into the World, the design studio mischer’traxler from Vienna in 2010 designed the project Till You Stop – Cake Decoration. With this cake decorating machine the designer duo explores the potential of decoration and ornaments in everyday life. The question posed in the course of acquiring this method and these materials is which role design holds as a social action. The main focus is on participation. The visitors can define the amount of sugar glaze and sugar pearl decoration and by doing so influence the decorative process. How much is enough? – Till You Stop.
