This is considered to be a piece of the wedding furniture. The tin bowl has family crests with a flowering peony motif which are engraved on the three places in a sequence of fine lines. While the lid and stand are coated with lacquer of nashiji (pear skin pattern); on which pine needles, flowers in the hexagonal frames, and two kinds of peony crests are depicted in maki-e design.
