Token, Ku Klux Klan: "United We Stand, Divided We Fall," circa 1930

The Henry Ford

The Ku Klux Klan was reborn in the late 1910s and flourished in the early 1920s. It declined beginning in the mid 1920s, but never completely disappeared. This small KKK token contains innocuous phrasing and mystic-like symbols belying the hatred, vigilantism, and violence found under the hood of the Klan.
