This piece is a part of my rocks and minerals series that portrays rocks in an abstracted nature. Torbernite is an exciting rok because it is deadly because of its radioactive properties. I loved the idea of making something dangerous into a beautiful piece of art. The vibrant greens and depth in this piece are exciting and gives the viewer a chance to delve into the rock and explore its features.
