Joaquin Conde is a sculptor and has been a professor of sculpture in UDLAP. He is known because of his sculptures made with traditional materials, as same as experimenting with found and recycling materials. His participation with talavera in this Collection is related to pieces made as part of the Uriarte Talavera Contemporánea collection, a collaboration at the late 90’s between Uriarte Talavera and UDLAP.
Torso en verde is one of the two talavera sculptures in the UDLAP. This is the one with the strongest green pigmentation and is conceive as an abstraction a woman’s torso.
