"As an artist working in a variety of media, when I discovered quiltmaking, all my needs were satisfied. Painting, photography, and graphic design all seemed a perfect ft for quilts. After going through many stages, appliqué became my favorite technique. With this technique, almost any design could be accomplished. Since that time, the majority of my work is centered on nature. Believing in the principle of working from where you live, almost all my work is inspired by the landscapes in Texas. Celebrating nature as part of who we are instead of seperate from us will continue to be the focus of my work. Hopefully, the work will do justice to the beauty outside my door."
